New to climbing? Choosing between editions? Here’s what you need to know.
Do I need to know anything about climbing?
No. You can play without knowing the moves or routes. Climbers will enjoy the references; everyone can enjoy the bluffing and friendly rivalry.
Is this a complete game, or do I need extras?
The Base Game is complete for 2–4 players. It includes 39 climb cards, 15 boulder cards, 10 injury tokens, 5 chalk tokens, a chalk bag and the rules. You don’t need the expansion or mat to play.
Why choose Premium?
For €10 more than the Base Game, you get the Animal Kingdom expansion and neoprene game mat. The expansion adds 8 animal action cards, including the Sneaky Snake: it can make players withdraw before the climbing cards are revealed. Bought separately, the game, expansion and mat cost €54.95. Premium is €44.95, so you save €10.
Which languages are the rules available in?
The rules are available in English, Dutch, French and German. You can read the English rulebook here before buying.
What does shipping cost in the EU?
EU shipping costs €4.95 and is free above €60. That makes one Base Game €39.90 delivered, or one Premium Edition €49.90 delivered. Orders ship from The Netherlands; EU delivery is usually around 3 working days.
