A sad day. I didn’t really follow video games closely when the fi1t Fable was released. Without all the hype people talk about, it ended up being one of my favorite games of that generation (granted, I was young). Fable 2 was just as special to me, and though Fable 3 didn’t keep the series moving in the right direction I still thought it was a good game. I even enjoyed Fable: The Journey despite its imprecise motion controls, so this really sucks.nFrom what I played Fable Legends was shaping up nicely. It was definitely a departure from the series, and change is always scary, I guess, but it was fun if you gave it chance. It actually reminded me of Left 4 Dead in a lot of ways — never too easy, playe1 had to stick together to survive, and levels were always a bit different on replays. It’s a shame that it won’t ever be finished or release to a wider audience given how much time people spent on its development.nBest of luck to the employees at Lionhead. Suffice it to say that I really hope the Fable franchise isn’t completely dead. More importantly, I hope the develope1 can find greater success in the future.
